The result of the 10th National Outstanding Young Jurists was released on July 12th, with ten jurists making the final list and 20 jurists receiving nominations. A total of 11 professors and alumni from Renmin University of China (RUC) Law School won the title of “National Outstanding Young Jurist” or got nominated.
Professor Wang Xu won the title of “National Outstanding Young Jurist”. Professor Zhu Hu, Professor Chen Xuan, Professor Zhu Xiao, and Professor Xu Yangguang received nominations. RUC alumni Yin Fei and Xie Zengyi also won the title, while Ye Shan, Song Zhihong, Yu Haisong, and Liao Shiping received nominations.

Organized by the China Law Society, National Outstanding Young Jurists is one of the most important awards in the field of law in China. Since 1995, it has been successfully held for ten sessions, selecting 99 outstanding young jurists nationwide. Many of them have taken on important positions in legislation, law enforcement, and judicature. Others have become distinguished scholars and leading figures in legal education and research, earning international fame and contributing to building the rule of law in China.
The election of the 10th National Outstanding Young Jurists began on December 28th, 2022, choosing among 137 candidates who had been selected from different institutions and organizations across China.
