Recently, the Fifth China Culture and Economy Academic Forum and the Seminar on Research and Application of Intelligent Evaluation Technology for Cultural Science and Technology Innovation was held in the main building of Mingde at Conference Room 405. It was sponsored by the School of Applied Economics and the Institute of Creative Industry and Technology(ICIT) of Renmin University of China (RUC). Song Yangyang, Vice President of ICIT, presided over the forum.

Huang Jun, Professor of School of Applied Economics of RUC, was in charge of the sub-topic 1 of the National Key R&D Program "Intelligent Evaluation of Cultural Science and Technology Innovation and Digital Development of Culture and Intelligent Analysis Technology Platform and Application of Industry Operation". He introduced the research and application of intelligent evaluation technology of cultural science and technology innovation in terms of the project overview, policy rationale, research content, technical route, and time schedule.

The participating experts had an in-depth discussion on several topics, including the classification and evaluation system of cultural science and technology innovation and key difficulties, and thus contributed to the further research of the topic.

Professors from the School of Applied Economics also expressed their ideas.

Huang Yanghua analyzed the importance of data elements, and believed that the construction of the cultural science and technology innovation classification and evaluation index system should consider the indicators of user scale and content production.

Zhang Hongxia introduced the logical chain of the evaluation of the digital development of the cultural industry from four aspects: the purpose of the evaluation, the evaluation framework, the evaluation method, and the adjustment of the evaluation method, and elucidated the difficulties and solutions of the measurement and evaluation.

Zhang Zhongwen explained the conceptual connotation and literature review of the construction of cultural science and technology innovation index system.

Li Yuexin analyzed the application of big data methods in the dimension of cultural enterprises and other aspects such as the mining of unstructured data.

LiuSongrui combined the theoretical literature with possible solutions based on the output and advanced technology adoption.
