On February 19th, 2024, new students from 16 countries including France, South Korea, Norway, Russia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Japan, Singapore, Canada, Australia, etc., arrived at Zhongguancun Campus, RUC, to register for the new semester. This week, Zhongguancun Campus, will continue to welcome new students for registration. And next week, Sino-French Institute of Suzhou Campus, will also gradually welcome international students for registration. The newly-enrolled international students will experience the one-stop offline registration at the specified destination on campus, which includes filling out enrollment forms, purchasing insurance for studying in China, obtaining campus ID cards, and getting information about the arrangements for the new semester.
In the following days, students will also participate in activities such as freshman adaptation classes, a visit to school history exhibition of RUC and learning how to use the school library. They will embark on a brand-new learning journey at Renmin University of China during this warm and vital season.
The volunteer service for this international student freshmen registration was entirely carried out by our international students at university, marking a successful attempt for our university's international student volunteer service. The international student volunteer team played a crucial role in welcoming new students, assisting them with the registration process, and providing them with campus life guidance. They will continue to provide enthusiastic and thoughtful explanations and support for the new students in upcoming activities such as the campus tours and freshman adaptation classes, making contributions to the construction of a warm and inclusive campus.
