On June 3, 2024, the 2024 offer letter of RUC was officially released.

The background color of the letter box is the unique red of RUC, with elements of gilt thread on it, where it shows the caves of Shanbei Public School, the teaching building of Huabei Associated University, the auditorium of Huabei University, and the old campus area of RUC under Baita Mountain, telling the glorious history of RUC.

In addition, the Lide Building on the current Zhongguancun campus, the library on the new campus in Tongzhou, as well as the Student Affairs Center complex and other landmarks buildings of each campus of RUC are also shown on the letter box, picturing a wonderful blueprint for RUC.

The box contains gifts for freshmen who are entering RUC in the fall of 2024, including university badges, a three-dimensional bookend and a book.

The university emblems carry profound cultural heritage and unique memory of the school history, and commemorative badges are engraved based on different historical periods of RUC, which will be given to freshmen randomly in the form of blind boxes.

Each badge is engraved with the words "Class of 2024 Freshmen Memorial", which means that RUC encourages freshmen to strive to grow into the narrators, inheritors and creators of the university history.

Besides, as RUC innovates to build a new college system covering all students in the six major academic departments including Mingde College, Mingli College, Xinmin College, Chongshi College, Qiushi College and Yuanjian College, the freshmen will receive their respective badge in the letter box.

In addition, in the process of assembling the three-dimensional bookend, freshmen can learn about the history of the university step by step, which is a vivid class right after admission.

When the bookend is assembled, freshmen can verify their identity by scanning it in AR mode. Subsequently, they can watch the university history in the form of animation and listen to the university song.

Next to the freshmen's exclusive bookend is a book, namely The University In Flames of War - A Review from Shanbei Public School to Renmin University of China by Cheng Fangwu, former president of the university. It records his precious memories of Shanbei Public School, Huabei Associated University and Huabei University, as well as the founding and re-establishment of RUC.

On the first page we can find a message to the freshmen by Zhang Donggang, Party Secretary of RUC, and Lin Shangli, President of RUC.

Zhang and Lin express that they hope undergraduate freshmen to cherish their precious time in RUC, work hard and become talents to serve the country in various industries in the future. They also encourage graduate freshmen to pursue knowledge innovation, theory innovation and method innovation, and offer wisdom with independent theories, knowledge and methods.
