On the afternoon of June 19th, a joint new book launch event for the English, Kazakh, Uzbek, and Traditional Chinese editions of the "Chinese Modernization Research Series" was held by China Renmin University Press, Cengage Group Gale, Eurasia-Astana Publishing House, Silk Road Publishing House, and Hong Kong Zhonghua Book Company together.
Wang Yi, Vice President of RUC, and Li Yongqiang, Chairman of China Renmin University Press, attended the book launch. Other guests in attendance were leaders from the companies and the pressed mentioned above as well as several government officials. The launch ceremony was hosted by Wang Lei, Deputy General Manager of China Renmin University Press.

Edited by Zhang Donggang, Chair of the University Council, and Liu Wei, former president of RUC, the series compiles the main research strengths of RUC to comprehensively study Chinese modernization. The overseas publication and distribution of the series help international audiences to understand China and Chinese people. To date, the series has published over 20 books in English, Uzbek, Kazakh, and Traditional Chinese.
To sum up, the launch event not only demonstrated the strength and influence of China Renmin University Press in the field of academic publishing but also made a significant contribution to expanding the overseas influence of Chinese modernization.
Established in 1955, China Renmin University Press was the first university press established after the founding of the People's Republic of China and has become a stronghold of humanistic and social science publishing in China.
