On Friday morning, November 2nd, the University of Tampere brought a delegation from Finland to Renmin University in search of greater international ties. Leading the delegation was University of Tampere Vice-Rector, Harrie Melin, and his colleagues whom were greeted by Renmin University Vice-President of International Affairs, Yi Zhihong.
Renmin University Deputy Dean of the School of Sociology and Population Studies, Guo Xinghua, spoke about his school’s MPA program, population management and planning, and points of prospective collaboration and mutual interest between the two universities.
Vice-Rector, Harrie Melin, highlighted his university’s MA programs comprising 9 different subjects and over 500 exchange students. Vice-President Yi spoke about Renmin University’s own international MA programs, and was happy to explore exchanges with the University of Tampere.
