The 2nd Wuyi Forum, themed "Civilizational Exchange and Modernization: The Global Significance of Chinese Socialism," will be held in Nanping City from March 21st to 23rd. Jointly organized by Renmin University of China, the CPC Nanping Municipal Committee, Nanping Municipal Government, and Wuyi University, the forum will bring together scholars to discuss cultural heritage and development.

The forum will adopt a hybrid model with a main event and four sub-events in different locations, each with a unique theme. It will cover topics like Confucian thought, cross-strait development, civilizational exchange, youth culture, and technology's role in cultural inheritance. The forum emphasizes translating theoretical outcomes into practical applications.

A key highlight is the release of the main report "A New Cultural Entity: 'Two Combinations' and the Prosperity of Chinese Culture." Led by Renmin University's Marxist College, the report explores the historical context, logic, and practical pathways of the "two combinations" theory, which integrates Marxism with Chinese traditional culture. It underscores the significance of this integration for China's modernization and cultural rejuvenation.

The forum will also see the establishment of the Cross-Strait High-End Academic Research Alliance for Chinese Civilization, led by Renmin University and involving multiple institutions. The alliance aims to promote academic collaboration and cultural exchange across the Taiwan Strait. Projects like the "Same Roots of Fujian and Taiwan Cultures" initiative and a joint education system combining classroom teaching with field practice will be implemented to foster cultural heritage and youth engagement.

The Wuyi Forum serves as a platform for international academic exchange, focusing on Chinese civilization and socialism. The 1st forum in 2024 attracted scholars from over ten countries, receiving extensive media coverage and academic acclaim.
