On January 8th, the newspaper office of "The Beijing News" officially launched the initiative of offering 3,000 free copies to RUC students. The free newspaper copies will be delivered to every dormitory building and every classroom. This initiative has gained support from enterprises such as China Ping An Insurance Group, Beijing Long for Properties and China National Petroleum Corporation.
Dai Zigeng, General Director of "The Beijing News", Wang Yuechun, Executive Chief Editor of "The Beijing News", Wang Aijun, Editorial Board Member of "The Beijing News", Chen Xiangjiang, Deputy Manager of the Issuing Center of "The Beijing News", and Wang Liming, Vice President of RUC attended the opening ceremony for the initiative. Li Jinmiao, Deputy Manager of the brand management department of China Ping An Insurance Group, Cao Xiaoling, Deputy Manager of Beijing Long for Properties, and Gong Kai, Director of the news office of China National Petroleum Corporation presented newspaper copies to student representatives at the ceremony.
Zheng Shuiquan, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of RUC hosted the launching ceremony. More than 100 student representatives and teaching staff were in attendance.
