On the morning of Dec 5^th, Vice President of RUC Yi Zhihong met with President of Hebrew University of Jerusalem Prof. Menahmem Ben-Sasson. His assistant Mr. Jonathan Mandelbaum was in attendance.   Vice President Yi Zhihong welcomed Prof. Ben-Sasson to visit RUC again after his visit in May, during which the bilateral cooperation agreement between the two universities was signed. Vice Presidnet Yi introduced RUC master English program, summer school and some undergraduate courses. She welcomed students from HebrewUniversity to study in RUC.   Prof. Menahmem Ben-Sasson said that he felt quite at home here, and the important goal of this visit is to discuss cooperation with RUC in details.   Vice President Yi Zhihong and Prof. Menahmem Ben-Sasson talked about the scholarship for exchange students, and agreed to carry out exchange programs soon according to the curriculum settings and requests of both universities. They have also discussed the possibility of exchanging faculties.   Executive Dean of School of Business Prof. Mao Jiye, Associate Dean of School of Economics Prof. Liu Yuanchun, Associate Dean of School of History Prof. Pi Qingsheng, Head of Department of Physics Prof. Lu Zhongyi and Deputy Director of International Office Ms. Cheng Xin also attended the meeting.   Hebrew University of Jerusalem is the most famous university and research institutions in Israel and it is also one of the top hundred universities in the world. HebrewUniversity was built in 1925. Albert Einstein is one of the founders of this university. Now HebrewUniversity has 6 campuses, 21 departments, over 230,000 students and 1000 faculties. So far Hebrew University has obtained 7000 patents and cultivated 8 Nobel Prize winners and 1 Field’s Prize winner.
