University of Luxembourg Vice-President visits RUC

Executive Vice-Chairman of the University Council at RUC, Zhang Jianming, met with University of Luxembourg Vice-President, Franck Leprévost, who was accompanied by a Luxembourg ambassador stationed in China, Félix Hirsch.

Dr. Zhang welcomed Dr. Leprévost and said that he was glad to see both schools continue their long-term and fruitful cooperation in the areas of finance and law that began in 2006. He mentioned the numerous exchanges of teachers and scholars in the fields of finance, law, and computer science and expressed the willingness of RUC to further enhance these mutually beneficial exchanges and visits.
Dr. Leprévost echoed Dr. Zhang’s approval of the cooperative projects that have been going on between the universities and also expressed his hope that more exchanges would occur between them in the future. He highlighted some of the important achievements of the University of Luxembourg in fields such as information security and the life sciences and said that he hopes to promote collaboration in these areas between the two schools.
Afterwards, RUC professors introduced the next cooperative program planned between the two universities. Dr. Leprévost then visited the School of Information at RUC and discussed the new cooperative plans for the computer science and mathematics fields.
