China’s National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science releases rankings of its 2015 national social science projects: Renmin University was ranked first in
50 projects: 8 key projects, 27 general, and 15 youth projects.

RUC’s Center for Political Theory and Curricular Innovation wins accreditation as one of the first 13 centers in Beijing’s “High-end University Innovation Program.”

th volume of its
Library of Chinese Modern Thinkers series; a discussion forum jointly hosted by Renmin University and
Guangming Daily is held at RUC.

th, RUC hosts the second national seminar on philosophy and social science discourses, jointly organized by the National Planning Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences, the Ministry of Education, and Renmin University.

On December 17th, the WU Yuzhang Humanities and Social Sciences Lifetime Achievement Award goes to RUC’s distinguished professor of economics, WEI Xinghua.

The 2015 Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Forum is held at Renmin University’s Suzhou Campus. The forum offers a platform for discussing pressing social issues of the day and working toward providing relevant solutions.
