On April 8^th, Renmin University’s Business School signed an agreement of cooperation with the Qianhai International Management Institute. Two million Chinese yuan were donated to set up the "Ma Shaofu Education Fund" in support of RUC’s Business School and its ongoing work toward internationalization. These efforts include setting up an International Advisory Committee for the School of Business, promoting international student and faculty exchange programs, and organizing international academic conferences and other events. RUC’s School of Business has set itself a ten-year plan with targets for developing from one of the country’s foremost business schools into a business school of growing international influence. One of the key initiatives is to create more platforms for international cooperation and exchanges. The Ma Shaofu Education Fund will help support more of RUC’s business students of promise engage in international exchanges.
