RUC Chairwoman JIN Nuo Heads Academic Delegation to Hong Kong

th, RUC Chairwoman JIN Nuo led a university delegation to Hong Kong to meet with various leaders, educationalists, and Renmin University alumni residing in the Special Administrative Region. The purpose of the trip was to further cooperation and exchange between Renmin and the Hong Kong SAR.

On April 24
th, the group met with Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, ZHANG Xiaoming and other officials. Chairwoman JIN Nuo gave an overview of recent exchanges between RUC and higher education institutions in Hong Kong and expressed her hopes for deeper collaboration in the future. ZHANG Xiaoming explained the role of the Liaison Office as an important intermediary between Hong Kong and mainland China for exchange and cooperation in various sectors.

On April 25th, JIN Nuo visited the headquarters of Goldlion and held talks with the company’s leadership. Vice Chairman of the company, ZENG Zhiming, introduced the “Zeng Xian Zi Zhu Can Research Fund,” which supports research undertaken for the development of projects and improvement of policies that will help disabled citizens. The two sides are looking to further develop their cooperation.

The delegation also visited Hong Kong Baptist University, where they met with Vice President Rick WONG and others, including the Dean of the School of Chinese Medicine, LÜ Aiping. RUC and Hong Kong Baptist plan to strengthen their academic exchanges; Professor JIN Nuo hopes that more students from Hong Kong Baptist University can join Renmin University’s Summer School.
