From May 12^th to 16^th, the Civil Aviation University of China in Tianjin hosted the 18^th CUBA (Chinese University Basketball Association) Tournament. Renmin’s Women’s team qualified for next month’s semifinals in Xiamen, where they will play Peking University. During the five-day match, Renmin put on a strong performance, with final winning scores in its division of 97-76, against Yunnan Normal University; 71-30, against Anhui University of Technology; 83-75, against Qinghua Normal University; 77-69, against China University of Mining and Technology; and 76-65 against East China University of Science and Technology. Peking University, Peking Normal University, and Qinghua University each won in their respective division, advancing to the national semifinals in June.
