Global HR Forum 2016 Hosted by RUC’s School of Labor & Human Resources

th, the School of Labor and Human Resources of Renmin University hosted the Global HR Forum 2016 at Yifu Hall on RUC’s campus. Renmin’s President LIU Wei, the Iranian Ambassador to China, Ambassador Khaji, and a number of Chinese officials attended the forum along with hundreds of professionals and scholars from all over China and around the globe. The National Development and Reform Commission of China, Harvard University, Monash University, Beisen Cloud Computing, Linkedin, ZTE, and Jingdong were among the corporations, universities, and government agencies represented at this year’s forum.

The topic of the forum was “HR Management Challenges and Strategies for Chinese Companies ‘Going Global.’” Leading experts from relevant sectors discussed topics related to Chinese enterprises headed for increased global competition, exchanging ideas and experiences and offering strategies for moving forward.

In his opening remarks, President LIU stated that if China hopes to keep its economy on track and enhance its positive impact around the world, we must implement more globally competitive corporate strategies in key sectors. As a leader in the Chinese social sciences and humanities, Renmin University has always been committed to application-oriented research and providing intellectual support for national strategic planning, including developing long-term strategies for Chinese enterprises “going global.” RUC’s School of Labor and Human Resources is a leading institute in the field of national labor sciences and human resources; it has served as an important think tank providing support for China’s economic development and social progress for more than 30 years.
