On June 14^th, Renmin University and Beijing Institute of Technology met at RUC to sign a strategic cooperation agreement between the two schools. Representatives from both universities discussed in-depth the collaboration planned in different areas, including higher education innovation and talent cultivation. RUC Chairwoman JIN Nuo, President LIU Wei, Executive Vice Chairman ZHANG Jianming, Vice President ZHA Xianyou, Vice Chairman WU Fulai, and Vice President HONG Dayong, and Beijing Institute of Technology’s Chairman ZHAO Changlu, President HU Haiyan, and Vice President WANG Xiaofeng, among others, attended the signing ceremony. The two schools share much common history, having been founded around the same time, during the War of Resistance Against Japan, both by the Communist Party of China.
