The 10th Sino-US International Conference on Public Administration Was Held at Renmin University of China

On September 24-26th, the 10th Sino-US International Conference on Public Administration was jointly organized by RUC school of Public Administration and Policy, Chinese Public Administration Society, American Society for Public Administration, and the School of Public Affairs and Administration, Rutgers University (Newark). More than 500 experts, scholars, teachers, and students from different countries and regions attended the conference online and offline, and more than 265,000 audiences watched the opening ceremony and plenary session online. Twelve sub-forums and 22 parallel sub-forums were held in three days. Themes of the forums included “International Experience of Multi-Pillar Pension System Reform in the Context of Population Aging,” “Performance Assessment for Promoting High-quality Development,” “Gender and Public Governance: Women, Family and Public Policy,” “Function and Mechanism of Social Governance in Response to the Global Epidemic” and “Unified Urban and Rural Land Market.” The Sino-U.S. International Conference on Public Administration has been held nine times so far. It is an essential platform for academic exchanges in public administration between China and the United States. It is also the academic conference with the largest number of participants and the highest level in public administration in China.
