On January 10th, RUC held a symposium and theoretical seminar to mark the official release of the ten-volume set "Development History of Marxism." The event was attended by key figures such as Zhang Donggang, Chair of the University Council, and Xin Guangwei, Editor-in-Chief of People's Publishing House.

Zhang Donggang emphasized RUC's commitment to the compilation of the ten-volume set over ten years. He highlighted the publication's significance in confirming the essential nature of Marxism and showcasing its theoretical progress in contemporary China. Zhang pledged RUC's dedication to promoting the development of Chinese Marxism and 21st-century Marxist theory under the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping.

Xin Guangwei acknowledged the collaborative effort in creating the monumental work, considering it a flagship achievement in constructing an independent knowledge system in China. He reiterated People's Publishing House's commitment to following General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions and contributing to the prosperity and development of socialist culture.

Lin Shangli, during the release ceremony, underlined the timeless nature of Marxist theory and its relevance in understanding human social development. He expressed RUC's commitment to innovation, drawing on the strengths of human civilization, and allowing Marxism to demonstrate its vitality in answering questions about China, the world, the people, and the times.

The symposium included keynote speeches by experts like Yang Ruisen, Liang Shufa, Han Qingxiang, Zhang Leisheng, Wei Xiaoping, Qinzuan, and Zhu Andong. They delved into various aspects of the "Development History of Marxism," offering valuable insights.
