Abstract

Translation has entered the era of intelligent translation 3.0 driven by big models, from manual translation in the 1.0 era and computer-assisted translation in the 2.0 era. This lecture will first introduce the technical basis of the big language model to help the audience understand its working principle and capability boundaries. Then, it will share how to further enhance the translation capabilities of the big model through technologies such as prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-enhanced generation (RAG) and agents. Finally, the team will showcase the auxiliary translation tool based on the big model independently developed, and share its design concept and specific industry applications.
