He emphasized that universities serve as cradles for talent development and hubs for cultural innovation. RUC is committed to deepening collaboration with Lebanon in cultivating academic talent and promoting mutual learning between civilizations. Such efforts will advance higher education in both countries, inject enduring momentum into bilateral relations, and jointly write a new chapter in civilizational dialogue.

Ambassador Milia Jabbour stated that Lebanon, an ancient civilization along the Belt and Road Initiative, holds significant potential for collaboration with China in areas such as educational innovation and cultural heritage preservation. She pledged to enhance exchanges between young scholars of the two countries, promote the development of higher education and people-to-people exchanges, and further strengthen bilateral relations.

After the meeting, Milya Jabr delivered a speech titled “Geopolitical Changes in Lebanon and the Middle East” at the “Ambassador Forum” of the Chongyang Forum for Regional and Country Studies at RUC.
