Four RUC teachers honored members of 2012 Beijing "One Hundred Talents Project"

According to the notice Selection of 2012 Beijing New Century Talented Members of Social Science Theory, "One Hundred Talents Project" issued by the Publicity Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee, 56 scholars from Renmin University of China, Peking University, Tsinghai University, Beijing Normal University, Beijing University of Social Science and other universities received this honor. Four laureates of RUC are Professor Zhu Xinkai from School of Agricultural and Rural Development, Associate Professor Xie Fusheng from School of Economics, Associate Professor Tian Ye from School of International Studies, Associate Professor Gu Shuguang from School of Chinese Classics.
Beijing Talented Members of Social Science Theory, "One Hundred Talents Project" aims to cultivate young models with political awareness, diligence and righteousness, under the guidance of Marxism. This project was led by the Publicity Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee, assisted by Beijing Federation of Social Science Circles and Beijing Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science. Since the launch in 1995, the project has trained hundreds of young scholars of prominence, most of whom later became the backbones in their academic research field, resulting in good social effects. Currently, a total of 95 scholars from Renmin University of China were selected. The number ranks first among universities in Beijing.
