Big Data·Big Strategy·Big Future 2013, the first CIO China Forum was hosted by the school of information resource management on May 23^rd.

Vice President Feng Huiling, Du Ping, deputy director ofstate information center, Prof. Zhang Bin dean of the school of information resource management, Zhao Guojun. director of the academic committee, Wang Dan, secretary of the party committee, Prof Lu Xiaobin, and relevant 200 people including party leaders, CIO from well-known enterprises,teachers and students were present. The forum was hosted by Prof. Zhang Bin.

Feng Huiling, on behalf of the RUC and school of information resources management, expressed sincere welcome to leaders,guests, teachers and students attending the forum. She pointed out that big data can bring us great development. Experts from different fields will enjoy big future together in this era of informatization and big data; "Information is king" is the feature of 21st century, however, there is still a big gap between our talents training and time’s request. Paying attention to the CIO is needed for the construction of informatization power and information resources; the School of information resource management is committed to building China's information technology education research base, and China’s CIO cradle.
