July 17th, 2013, Prof. Wang Liming, Vice President of RUC met with Madame Susan Carvalho, Associate Provost of the University of Kentucky (UK). The delegation she led also included Dr. Zhou Xuguo, Department of Entomology, and Dr. Yuan Ling, Department of Plant and Soil Sciences of UK. After welcoming Madame Carvalho, Prof. Wang Liming briefly reviewed the cooperation between the School Of Journalism and the School Of International Education of RUC and UK. Madame Susan said that cooperation with China played a vital role in UK’s strategic plan, and cooperation with top universities such as RUC was of great significance for UK. She hoped that both universities could deepen the cooperation in health communication, crisis communication and students mobility. Li Haibin, Dean of school of International Education, Yu Guoming, Deputy Dean of School of Jjournalism and Cheng Xin, Deputy Director of International Office of RUC also attended the meeting. After the meeting, the delegation visited School of Journalism and School of International Education.
