September 9 is the first day of RUC’s new semester. At 7:50 am, President Chen Yulun made an inspection to an undergraduate class on the second floor of Teaching Building No.2, meeting and greeting teachers and new students. Accompanied by Vice-President Yang Huilin, President Chen first came to the class Fiscal Management taught by Associate Professor Wang Xiuzhi, School of Finance. He asked how the class was going on and how the students were preparing for their study, advised them to study diligently and cherish their experience at Renmin. President Chen Yulu then came to College English Test 4 Reading, Writing and Speaking class. When talking to the foreign teacher of the class, he extended cordial greetings for the upcoming Teachers’ Day. On that day, Deputy Deans in charge of teaching and teaching secretaries of Academic Affairs Office also paid visits to every teaching building to inspect undergraduates’ classes. Thanks to full preparation and cooperation of all departments and schools, well-ordered undergraduate teaching programs went on smoothly on the first day of this semester. All teaching faculty and students were punctual and energetic.
