RENMIN UNIVERSITY, 4 Sept., 2013(Via RUC English News): Belorusian Principal Vice Minister of Education Bogus Vadim Anatoliyevich visited Renmin University of China (RUC) on Sept. 3, and met with Zhang Jianming, Executive Vice Chairman of the University Council. Zhang Jianming expressed his welcome to the visitors from Belorus and introduced in brief the Master Programs conducted in English and the International semester of RUC. He hoped that this visit would strengthen the cooperation and friendship between RUC and Belorusian colleges, and more Belorusian students would come to study in RUC. Bogush thanked for the hospitality of the host. He said there are not many Belarusians studying in China now and they will push for more Belarusian students to study in China, Renmin University in particular. He hoped that they are to send more undergraduates and teachers from Belarusia to RUC so that Sino-Belarus ties could be further enhanced . In company with Bogus Vadim Anatoliyevich, were Schreck Weronika, the second secretary of the Belarus Embassy in China, and Ms. Wang Hui from International Department of the Ministry of Education. Zhang Xiaojing, Director of the International Office, RUC also attended the meeting. Last July, Lukashenko, president of Belorus visited China on the invitation of Chinese president Xi Jinping. During the visit, both sides reached an agreement on the comprehensive, wide-range and multi-level cultural co-operations. Of the two researchers Belaruian State University sent to China last year, one studied in RUC. Ever since 1997, more than ten Belorusian students have graduated from or studied in RUC.
