On September 25^th, Renmin University welcomed hundreds of incoming freshmen with an evening of colorful performances centered on the theme “Building Your RUC Dream.” The evening was filled with dance and music, an array of performances organized by RUC students of different departments, including the School of International Relations, the School of Information Resource Management, and the School of Journalism, as well as the Renmin University Student Art Troupe. The musical offerings covered a wide range, from choir performances to sung poetry recitations; historical drama scenes and songs form popular films were performed as incoming students witnessed some of the dynamism and energy of the RUC spirit. WU Fulai, Vice Chairman of the University Council, joined the event and addressed the incoming “Class of 2015.”   New entrance procedures, including the “RUC Guide for Freshman,” are in place to ensure that freshman at RUC have access to all the necessary support services for a smooth and successful start to their new life at university.
