WU Jingyu Wins First Place in Taekwondo Championship

On September 19th, Renmin University athletic coach and Olympic gold medalist WU Jingyu won yet another taekwondo championship in the flyweight category.
WU had previously won gold in both the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Summer Olympics. She came to Renmin University in 2014 after graduating from Soochow University. She is now actively preparing for the Olympic Games in Rio next year. Should she win another gold medal, she will be the first taekwondo athlete in history to win the title three years running.
