From November 2^nd to 6^th, RUC’s swim team joined the 15^th National University Swimming Championships in Zhejiang Province. 59 schools and over 700 swimmers competed in the event. Renmin University swimmers won the 4x100-meter medley and the 4x100-meter freestyle relay, while Yan Yinchi, a student in Renmin's School of Public Administration won the 100-metre backstroke competition. RUC swimmers also placed in several other events, including the 100-meter butterfly, the 200-meter medley, the 100-meter breaststroke, and the 50-meter butterfly. Beginning this summer, RUC’s swimming coach put his team on a rigorous daily training schedule, which paid off to everyone's great satisfaction.
