Sherif Saadallah introduced the general situation of WIPO Academy, WIPO’s unit for IP education, which offers advanced training for government officials as well as IP professionals. A number of students have been sent to conduct research at WIPO, and RUC hopes to work more closely with the organization in the future, be it in professional training, offering student internships, faculty exchanges, or organizing academic forums on intellectual property rights. Professor LIU Chuntian, Director of RUC’s IP Academy and Vice Director of the International Office, Professor LÜ Jie, also attended the meeting.
